University Biography

SEGi University and Colleges first opened its doors as Systematic College in 1977 in the heart of the business district of Kuala Lumpur, providing globally recognized professional qualifications.

SEGi has experienced significant growth by adapting and meeting the increasing demand for higher education and professional qualifications in Malaysia.

Known as one of Malaysia’s largest private higher education providers, SEGi now serves 20,000 students across five major campuses located in:

Masters’s Required Documents

Bachelor Certificate in Arabic, English or English language only if graduated from a school its medium of instruction is English.

A complete scanned copy of current passport.
English proficiency certificate with minimum band 6 in ILETS or its equivalent.
Research proposal for a research-based study.
Two recommendation letters from 2 professors or lecturers from the University of Bachelor Studies.
Experience Certificate of at least five years if found.

SEGi Sports Scholarship

Talented Malaysian athlete who participates at State or National level sporting events.

State level athlete is entitled to 25% rebate and National athlete is entitled to 50% rebate on tuition fees.

Verification by sports association is necessary.

Applicant must represent SEGi College or University in MAPCU games or any other tournaments as and when required by the College or University.

Applicant is required to meet a minimum CGPA of 2.5 every semester and maintain their sports achievement at State or National level.

SEGi High Achievers Scholarship (HAS)

SPM/O-Levels, STPM/Local Matriculation/A-Levels, and UEC school leavers who have achieved outstanding results are entitled to the High Achievers Scholarship (HAS) when they register to enroll into SEGi.

The HAS will cover percentage of the new students’ tuition fees based on their results

University Campuses

SEGi’s main campus, in Kota Damansara, houses several colleges including Business, Technology, Innovation, Creative Arts, Design, and Dentistry. The newly built Kota Damansara metro station is near the institution, providing easy access to students from Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.

The campus has facilities including an academic library and a swimming pool. It can accommodate up to 12,000 students. The annex building known as the SEGi Tower is located a few hundred meters away to accommodate an additional 6000 students.

SEGI Subang Jaya College
- SEGi College Subang Jaya first opened its doors in January 2006. It can accommodate up to 6,500 students.

- SEGians from this campus have free access to the sports facilities at the 3K Sports Complex across from the main building.

SEGI College Kuala Lumpur
- This campus opened its doors in 1977. Over the years, it has expanded from one to five buildings in this vicinity.

- The college currently has approximately 4,000 students studying on a full-time/part-time basis.

SEGI Penang College
- SEGi College Penang acts as a SEGi education center for students in the northern region of Malaysia, located in Green Hills.

- The campus offers a wide range of programs at different levels in business, accounting, human resources, early childhood education, mass communication, information technology, hotel management and tourism.
