HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
Prior to admission, students are required to undergo a medical examination to ensure they are in good health and free of transmissible diseases. They also need to comply with the immunisation and infection risk policy.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
The programme is structured into two phases:
- Phase 1 (Year 1 & 2) focuses on the fundamental knowledge of medical sciences with exposure to clinical medicine. Students will be taught history taking and physical examination techniques using both simulated patients and models, where they will learn to identify patients’ problems and propose investigation plans for the patients.
- Phase 2 (Years 3 – 5) involves clinical rotations at designated hospitals from the Ministry of Health, where students will gain hands-on experience with patients. During this phase, students are rotated in all clinical disciplines required for undergraduate training including Internal Medicine, Surgery and Intensive Care among many others.
