ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Coursework Mode
- A recognized bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA score of 2.50 or equivalent; OR
- A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a 2.00 CGPA < 2.50, recognized by the Malaysian or Natioanl Government, AND a minimum of 5 years related work experience.
Masters by Mixed Mode
- A recognized bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with minimum CGPA score of 2.75; OR
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields below CGPA score of 2.75 but above CGPA score of 2.50, can be accepted subject to undertaking a written communication assessment and passing two (2) pre-requisite modules – Introduction to Mass Communication and Communication Theory; OR
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields below CGPA score of 2.50 and work experience of a minimum of 5 years in relevant/related field can be accepted.
International Students
- IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 600 (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score)
The Malaysian Immigration Department requires six to eight working weeks to process student visa application. Taylor’s International Office will assist international students in submitting the necessary application for a student visa – upon approval of their application for admission into the Master’s programme and issuance of the Letter of Acceptance.
*Students without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience requires to undergo and pass a bridging module.
